the room was small but clean - with a sink - coffee maker - mini fridge, and microwave. the hotel is close to maryland - national harbor tanger outlets - walmart, and mcdonald's. there's plenty for kids to do in virginia and maryland. and the desk staff was very friendly and helpful - offering a free shuttle to the historic part of town and the waterfront.
